Superman ocean "reference" trip

In search of "reference" of the open ocean for our work on Superman Returns, we chartered a sailboat out of Marina del Rey and spent a day sailing down the coast past Palos Verdes and back again. Skippered by our one of our own crew members, our boat served as a platform for shooting a lot of water reference images and for drinking a lot of happy liquids.
